Ludwig Wittgenstein's work concentrated on language and how meaning was created within it. He also commented on
ethics and how to work toward the good. Within a system of meaning one can only find relative values since any absolute exists outside of the system. However, the search for value supposes that an absolute value exists even though it can not be completely discovered. The search proves that something is there outside of an individual's reach. Finding the good is therefore a process and not a goal.
