As the year comes to a close, it is time to assess the past twelve months. There were many tragedies, but there was also new chances for hope. Things such as Wikileaks and other attempts to subvert power in this stage of late capitalism has shown that power can never be truly seamless. There is always the possibility of enacting justice, and these possibilities can be amplified in the upcoming years of the next decade.
